Effect of Trunk Exercises on Spastic Cerebral Palsy Children's to improve Sitting Postural Control

Background: Cerebral palsy is a neurological disorder of brain, which impacts on posture, balance, and motor skills child due to in coordination between nervous musculoskeletal system. Aim: To improve functional independence among children with spastic cerebral palsy, so that independent sitting could be achieved, by quality life these children, labor therapist caregiver was minimized. Methods: The study comprised total 29 diagnosed individuals from the Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital. Those who fulfill inclusion criteria were examined pediatric department GTTH. By using randomized sampling method subjects assigned perform task. Pre-operative post-operative assessment made group assess percentage gross skill GMFM Score Sheet. Patients engaged into series physical rehabilitation program based trunk control strengthening exercises. Results: finding showed 6.9 % kids age 13 months 18 months, 44.8 19 24 age, 31% 25 30 17.2 31 36 months. mean difference 11.93 pre post treatment, had Standard deviation 4.11. P value less than 0.05 indicates intervention significant. Conclusion: It concluded exercises postural Spastic Palsy children. Key words: CP, GMFCS, GMFM, Trunk Exercise, CP
